Celebrating 'Sacred Space' - Dublin - Ireland

SOPREMA IRELAND SUPPORTS ARCHITECTURAL EXHIBITION INTIATIVE

Darc space, 26 North Great Georges Street, Dublin. 12 February 2015 – 1st May 2015

Sacred Space, the latest exhibition at The Dublin Architecture Space, or darc space, celebrates the making and unmaking of sacred space in Dublin. Exploring the creative reappropriation of existing space into religious space and the adaption of existing sacred space for new use.

The exhibition features projects such as “the Mosque above the shop and “and ”the Church in the warehouse”. Co-funded by Dublin City Council, the Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht, SOPREMA Ireland are supporting the Sacred Space Exhibiton, recognising the aims of the gallery to intensify the debate about the future of the built environment and advocate new possibilities for the building industry.

A special publication Sacred Space accompanies the Exhibition and is available for purchase from darc space.
