With Mammouth® Neo enter in a new era

With Mammouth® Neo enter in a new era

A guarantee that illustrates the innovative dynamic of SOPREMA and its willingness to actively participate to the objectives set by the Grenelle Environment Round Table.

The Pass’Innovation delivered by the CSTB* to the new concept of waterproofing system Mammouth® Neo, validates this new process. Mammouth® Neo Base SI is used as self-adhesive first layer of two-ply waterproofing system with a self-protected second layer Mammouth® Neo Cap. The Pass’Innovation delivered by the CSTB to the new concept of waterproofing system Mammouth® Neo, validates this new process. Mammouth® Neo Base SI is used as self-adhesive first layer of two-ply waterproofing system with a self-protected second layer Mammouth® Neo Cap. A product of SOPREMA’S ecodesign approach, Mammouth® Neo system is the culimination of 10 years of research and development. These unique and patented membranes are comprised of a revolutionary new material: an innovative and environmentally friendly elastomer made from organically sourced raw materials, derived from 75% of rapeseed oil.
Thanks to this waterproofing concept, consumption of non-renewable fossil resources is reduced by 60%, limiting the membrane’s carbon footprint.

The Pass’Innovation validates Mammouth® Neo concept as an ecological waterproofing system for non-trafficable roof-terraces.

Intended use

Mammouth® Neo process is intended to lowland climate, in new construction and renovation on inaccessible roofs limited to 20% slope. The substrate may be concrete, wood or steel deck.

Twice as durable as current membranes

The high quality of its components gives Mammouth® Neo its exceptional resistance to ageing compared to current membranes. The characteristics of complex sheet / binder fully meet the UEAtc requirements according to the Technical Guidelines or Technical Approvals for roofing waterproofing systems. The accelerated ageing tests concluded a sustainability twice as higher as the current membranes. Tensile and wind resistance tests conducted on Mammouth® Neo resulted in a maximum permissible depression value equal to 4,989 Pa (combined with polyurethane insulation panel bonded with Sopracolle 300N).

A technical membrane, lightweight and easy-to-install

A revolution in the way we work!
Easier to install, while maintaining the highest quality. With its extraordinary technology-filled binder, Mammouth® Neois at the same time high performing, ultra-thin and ultra-lightweight (surface density : 2.5 kg/m²). Available in 25 kg for a 10 m long roll. Mammouth® Neo, a bilayer system to be ecological, durable, sustainable and aesthetic.
With the use of Alsan® Flashing® for upstands, Sopravap® 3 in 1 as a vapor barrier and Mammouth® Neo for the membrane, we reduce the use of flame to be out of water.
